Chef Comella began building business in 1944 by selling Clambakes, designed to allow people to enjoy Great Food, Family and Friends while taking in the romance of the fall season. Our clams arrive from the Eastern Coastlines which are filled with WILD clams in the late summer and fall. The clams are full of meat and provide a bountiful taste of the sea along fresh Ohio Sweet Corn, plump Fresh Ohio Chicken halves and beautiful Louisiana Sweet Potatoes. All bakes are packed with only Wild Sustainable Clams and Ohio Raised Local Chicken.

Chef Comella’s Clambakes are offered in Original, Specialty or Combination bakes. Combinations include Live Lobster, King Crab, Lobster Tails as well as our hand selected Sirloin and Strip bakes.

2012 offers a Snow Crab bake offering a full pound of crab and clams for $29.99 or our new Combination Snow Crab Bake offering a full half pound of crab, clams and chicken for $26.99.

We provide a steamer and or pot that won’t leak! Burners available too. Our bakes include a full complement of Plates, Bowls, Silverware, Rolls, Cole Slaw and Butter. A complete set of instructions will make your bake easy and your day memorable for all.

Good Things to Know:

  • Chef Comella’s Original Clambakes in Northern Ohio have been a staple since 1944. In fact, Clevelander's love clams and eat more hard shell clams than anywhere else in the country.

  • Chef Comella’s Original Clambakes are available for local pick-up only.
    Remember it takes 48 hours to process your Original Clambake properly.

  • Convenient on line ordering - Order Your Bake Today! Or call our customer service to cover all your needs 440-951-6448. If you’re ordering online please specify your pick up date and time.

  • Changes can be processed before 2pm day before your pick up.

  • Steamer Pick-ups available at 7:30 am, Pot Pick-ups begin at 8:00 am until 12:00.

  • Steamers may need a SUV or trailer to accommodate.

  • Equipment can be rented out; we have plenty of stock cooking burners. Charcoal is always available, however we don’t provide propane tanks.

  • We require a deposit on all equipment, returned to you upon return of equipment.

  • Market is open 8am to 4pm all Saturdays and 8am to 11am on Sundays listed below.

  • 2012 Market & Clambake Pick-ups open Sundays September 23rd thru October 14th.

  • Returning your equipment? We request all equipment be returned next day. However we understand you have a busy schedule. We are available for returns daily as well as stated hours above.

  • We offer a complete line of fully cooked party platters to compliment your bake - featured in the EFC Market Seafood Platters & Specialty Category
